Chris Mitchell was commissioned by Landor to give Lucy, or the Girl in the Moon, a much needed update. Miller High Life, the champion of beers is one of America's most well known beer brands. Over the years, various illustrations of Lucy took many forms. Whilst respecting the brand equity of the vintage Lucy, Chris' brief was to provide a new crafted illustration that delivers greater visual clarity of form, in an iconic style for all print sizes. The brand identity refresh by Landor was honoured by Brand New, placing 2nd in the category 'Best Identity' of 2010.
