Coppertone is a major American suncream brand. Peal Fisher commissioned Chris Mitchell to redraw and craft the playful Coppertone illustrative character brand icon, 'Little Miss Coppertone.' Originally from the early 1950s, the child and dog was then redrawn in 1959 and stood for trust, care and efficiency.
Taking clues from the original, a more contemporary, single colour inclusive illustration by Chris now features across brand packaging and communication, central to the brand storytelling and mission to 'seize the sun'.
