Chris Mitchell was commissioned by Bonsey Design to craft and style a new crest identity for the internationally respected Univesity Sains Malaysia (USM). The brief was to provide a modern, crisp illustrative crest suitable for reduction whilst using the traditional subject elements from the original crest. The lettering motto Kami Memimpin or 'We lead' within the banner was crafted by specialist lettering designer and trusted associate Chris Weir.
