Client: St Mark's Church. Philadelphia USA
The Saint Mark's Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was founded in 1847 and built between 1848 and 1849. The building's architecture is in the Decorated Gothic style of the late 13th and 14th centuries. It is regarded as one of the best examples of this Gothic Revival style. Chris Mitchell was commissioned directly to create a new crafted identity for the church, the symbol of Saint Mark and the winged lion.
