Original and modern are words often used to describe Manchester City. In keeping with the ethos of this dynamic city the original historic Manchester City Council crest was due for a much needed refresh. The brief to Chris Mitchell was to redraw and modernize the existing crest, most importantly to project aspirational values by way of a crafted contemporary style using light to give drama, dimension and clarity.
