In order to visually assist in repositioning the Bank of England as one of the most established financial organisations in the world, Chris Mitchell was commissioned by Robson Dowry to redraw the banks illustrative Britannia identity logo. The importance of craft investment in the redraw was crucial given the profile and stature the logo is required to project.
The bank's identity logo has been recently been redesigned, in line with the bank's new digital-first identity system.
